Job Description

Solventum healthcare sales specialist growing sterilization and monitoring solutions across Ohio. Managing hospital accounts, territory strategy, clinical education, and product adoption.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts and sales territory to deliver sustainable business growth against targets/quotas
  • Use data and analytics to inform business planning
  • Identify and solve customer financial and clinical priorities and constraints
  • Leverage hospital networks and contacts to identify expansion and conversion opportunities
  • Persuade account stakeholders to advocate for proposed solutions and products
  • Manage relationships with key clinical and economic stakeholders
  • Increase mix of NPIs
  • Collaborate with channel, distribution, and kitting partners on relationships and mutually beneficial programs
  • Provide in-service education, technical support, and product troubleshooting
  • Use publications and industry guidelines to influence product adoption and standardization
  • Drive contract compliance and standardization opportunities
  • Consult with clinicians on safe and effective product use
  • Complete sales training and business planning requirements
  • Maintain sales call data in Salesforce.com
  • Support conferences, trade shows, and symposiums

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher and four (4) years of sales, clinical or related experience OR High School Diploma/GED and six (6) years of sales, clinical or related experience
  • Current, valid Driver’s License
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Proven track record of quota and target attainment
  • Prior healthcare sales or clinical experience
  • Experience in territory management and business planning
  • Expertise establishing customer relationships with key influencers
  • Understanding of clinical value drivers across care areas
  • Understanding of cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, and asepsis
  • Customer-focused selling and closing experience
  • Experience navigating complex selling cycles
  • Completion of a formal sales training program
  • Experience using a CRM such as Salesforce
  • Experience with new product introductions and value analysis processes
  • Experience collaborating with distribution channel partners
  • Outstanding data and analytical skills
  • Ability to enter healthcare or third-party facilities subject to required licenses, vaccinations, and other prerequisites
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without employment visa sponsorship
