Job Description
Talent Acquisition Specialist sourcing candidates for the pharmaceutical industry based in São Paulo, Brazil. Engaging with hiring managers and building talent pools through innovative strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with hiring managers (as directed) to gather detailed briefs on role requirements
- Proactively source candidates using a variety of channels and techniques (e.g., search engines, job board databases, social networks), following Channel Activation Matrices or other guidance as appropriate
- Build and maintain your own network of candidates and actively expand it with relevant profiles
- Contact identified candidates to assess suitability, promote the opportunity, and encourage them to apply
- Manage job board advertising and career site postings, ensuring ads are accurate, compelling, and optimized for maximum impact
- Screen and qualify applicants upon application to determine suitability and collect necessary information (e.g., availability, permission to represent) to create longlists
- Act as the interface between hiring managers and candidates, ensuring both parties remain informed
- Build and develop talent pools of qualified candidates (pre- or post-application as directed) using CRM (Avature) where appropriate, and manage candidate communications to keep talent pools current
- Maintain regular communication with the hiring manager team to understand ongoing requirements and report on progress
- Update applicant records in the ATS based on hiring manager feedback, rejecting applicants as appropriate and moving suitable candidates into talent pools for future reference
- Develop an awareness of the client’s business and the broader sector to effectively communicate key selling points to prospective candidates
- Meet agreed service levels and targets
- Escalate any issues related to the delivery of recruitment services when appropriate
- Participate in and contribute to team meetings
- Expand knowledge of candidate sourcing techniques and strategies through training and networking
- Schedule interviews between selected candidates and hiring managers when required — this is needed during the regular admin support’s annual leave and during peak volumes of interview scheduling requests
Requirements:
- Experience using specialist sourcing techniques (e.g., Boolean search) across a wide range of channels is a strong advantage
- Fluent written and spoken Portuguese and Spanish or English
- Strong customer focus with the ability to manage stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build long-term relationships with candidates, clients, and colleagues
- Candidate sourcing experience, with knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry considered a plus
- Proven success sourcing specialist or niche candidates
- Experience working with recruitment systems (e.g., ATS, CRM) and maintaining high levels of data integrity
- Proactive personality with the ability to drive change within recruitment processes
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a practical approach
