Job Description

Technischer Experte für internationalen Kundenservice im Bereich Motoren und BHKW-Systeme. Durchführung von Störbehebung und Wartungseinsätzen mit hoher Reisebereitschaft.

Responsibilities:

  • Worldwide support for customers, distributors and service dealers in the field of engines and combined heat and power (CHP) systems
  • Execution of troubleshooting, service and maintenance assignments
  • Conducting damage analyses and on-site repairs
  • Fault diagnosis and optimization of plant operation
  • Supporting Product Support (internal service) with remote troubleshooting, evaluation and analysis of field issues
  • Advising and supporting the service and sales organizations on service and maintenance matters
  • Independently developing solutions for technical problems on-site
  • Onboarding new service partners for mtu gas systems in the regions Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA)
  • Pre- and post-deployment tasks (home office possible)

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed training as a technician or master craftsman in the mechanical or mechatronics field, or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in field/customer service and confident interaction with customers and service partners
  • Good knowledge of combustion engines
  • Sound knowledge of control and automation technology is an advantage
  • Experience in CHP technology or with heating/air conditioning/ventilation systems is an advantage
  • Good German and English skills, spoken and written; additional languages are a plus
  • Good IT/user-level computer skills
  • Organizational skills, systematic and independent way of working
  • High flexibility, commitment and motivation
  • Very high willingness to travel (up to 90%), domestically and internationally
