Job Description

Technical Product Marketing Manager shaping Cisco Wireless messaging, content, and demonstrations. Supporting Cisco’s enterprise networking go-to-market strategy and customer adoption.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop deep expertise with Wi-Fi and other wireless standards across hardware, software, and machine learning technology
  • Collaborate with Product and Market Strategy teams on messaging and technical positioning focused on customer outcomes
  • Create technical product content and thought leadership for enterprise customers
  • Deliver live and recorded demonstrations of product capabilities and use cases
  • Lead web content creation to increase customer understanding, interest, and purchase intent for Cisco Wireless solutions
  • Serve as a trusted technical and market authority
  • Support go-to-market and demand-generation activities
  • Structure complex or ambiguous initiatives and drive cross-team decisions and outcomes
  • Evangelize Cisco Wireless at industry events

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of professional experience in Technical Product Marketing, Product Management, Solutions Engineering, Technical Marketing Engineering, Network Operations, or related enterprise technology roles
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise wireless networking
  • Experience developing technical marketing content and demonstrations, including presentations, solution briefs, blogs, white papers, technical guides, or sales enablement materials
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Cisco Wireless, Cisco Meraki, cloud-managed networking, or enterprise wireless LAN environments
  • Experience with wireless machine learning, analytics, assurance, or network-management capabilities
  • Experience developing differentiated product messaging and positioning
  • High-quality writing, editing, and technical thought leadership experience, including published work
  • Experience influencing product, engineering, support, sales, customer, and creative teams
  • Experience speaking at industry events or webinars
  • Experience supporting enterprise or partner/channel sales motions
