Job Description

Product Marketing Manager leading go-to-market strategy for NMI’s card-not-present payments and value-added solutions. Translating payment technology into outcome-led messaging for ecommerce merchants and software platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead go-to-market strategy, positioning and messaging for NMI's card-not-present processing stack and Value Added Solutions portfolio
  • Define outcome-led value propositions for ecommerce merchants, subscription businesses, marketplaces and software platforms
  • Develop differentiated narratives focused on merchant and partner success
  • Partner with Product Management to influence roadmap decisions using merchant insight and competitive intelligence
  • Support launches for new processing capabilities, VAS features and integrations
  • Collaborate with product, sales, corporate marketing and channel marketing on launch execution
  • Create launch plans, enablement materials, customer-facing messaging and internal readiness programs
  • Support adoption and revenue generation through onboarding, documentation and merchant-experience messaging
  • Conduct market research on online fraud, chargebacks, PCI compliance, checkout conversion and payment orchestration
  • Monitor competitors and market dynamics
  • Develop sales enablement tools including pitch decks, battlecards, case studies, messaging frameworks, ROI narratives and use cases
  • Support lifecycle messaging for merchant and partner adoption, expansion and retention
  • Equip ISOs, software providers and reseller partners with VAS-focused messaging
  • Present solutions to sales teams, internal stakeholders, prospects and partners
  • Represent NMI at ecommerce and payments industry events
  • Support analyst relationships and NMI's technical voice
  • Bring competitive insight into product packaging, pricing and positioning
  • Build business cases for new VAS opportunities and processing enhancements
  • Align product, engineering and commercial teams on priorities
  • Contribute to thought leadership including whitepapers, points of view, benchmark reports and webinars

Requirements:

  • Five plus years of B2B product marketing experience in payments, fintech or a closely related ecommerce technology space; payments or fintech experience is required
  • Experience marketing or supporting marketing of card-not-present payment processing, online payment gateways, tokenization/vaulting, recurring billing, fraud prevention or related payments/fintech value added services
  • Ability to translate technical processing and fraud/compliance capabilities into solution-forward, outcome-based messaging for non-technical merchants and buyers
  • Experience supporting cross-functional product and feature launches
  • Comfortable and effective presenting live to sales teams, prospects and internal/external stakeholders
  • Ability to move product narratives from feature-and-spec-led to solution- and outcome-led
  • Uses AI tools as part of daily product marketing work
  • Strong storytelling, messaging, speaking and content development skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or another related field
  • Technical understanding of payment processing, tokenization and fraud/compliance tools
  • Experience in multi-channel marketing/distribution
  • Ability to distill complex information into clear communications
