Job Description
Technical Sales Specialist representing scientific instruments and solutions for customers to enhance health, safety, and the environment. Collaborating with teams to deliver effective solutions and exceptional experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Represent our portfolio of scientific instruments and solutions
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs and deliver effective solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and technical support, to implement sales strategies
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of technical sales experience in relevant scientific instrumentation, laboratory products, or the life sciences industry
- Preferred Fields of Study: Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or related discipline
- Deep technical knowledge of assigned product portfolio and applications, including drug discovery, drug metabolism, ADME/Toxicology, cancer organoids, and gene editing
- Strong understanding of laboratory workflows and customer requirements
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, ability to explain complex technical concepts
- Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment
- Demonstrated project management and organizational skills
- Travel requirements up to 75% within the assigned territory
- Valid driver's license and ability to lift/move equipment as needed
- Proficiency in English required, additional languages valued for international roles
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze market trends and competitive landscape
- Experience delivering technical demonstrations and training
