Job Description

Thermo Fisher Scientific technical sales specialist supporting proteomics workflows and beads. Driving customer success, revenue growth, demonstrations, and account relationships across the assigned territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to revenue growth and customer success through technical sales expertise
  • Represent Thermo Fisher Scientific’s portfolio of Proteomic Workflows & Beads
  • Understand customer needs and deliver effective solutions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts
  • Provide technical expertise across the sales cycle
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and technical support teams
  • Implement sales strategies
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Deliver technical demonstrations and training
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape

Requirements:

  • BS degree required
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Preferred fields of study: Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience, ideally in technical sales for scientific instrumentation, laboratory products, or technical bench work in life sciences
  • Deep technical knowledge of assigned product portfolio and applications
  • Strong understanding of laboratory workflows and customer requirements
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel 50% within the assigned territory
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to lift/move equipment as needed
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Ability to analyze market trends and competitive landscape
  • Experience delivering technical demonstrations and training
