Job Description

Territory Manager driving Industrial Hydraulics sales for Donaldson, a global filtration technology provider, across Arizona, Nevada, California, Oregon, and Washington. Expanding distributor, OEM, and industrial customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive profitable growth and expand market share for the Industrial Hydraulics product portfolio throughout the Western Region
  • Achieve annual sales, profitability, and market share objectives within the assigned territory
  • Develop and execute territory growth plans focused on distributor expansion, OEM engagement, and end-user development
  • Build and maintain relationships with distributors, fluid power integrators, OEMs, and key industrial accounts
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across manufacturing, mining, energy, and industrial markets
  • Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations, and technical presentations
  • Partner with distributor sales teams to execute joint account plans
  • Support customers with product selection and application recommendations
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting
  • Monitor competitive activity and market trends
  • Represent Donaldson at industry trade shows and customer events

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of industrial, fluid power, hydraulics, filtration, or other technical sales experience
  • Experience selling hydraulic filtration, fluid power, hydraulic components, industrial automation, or engineered industrial products preferred
  • Knowledge of OEM, MRO, mobile equipment, manufacturing, mining, agriculture, and energy markets preferred
  • Experience developing distributor and channel partner relationships preferred
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and account management skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across multiple levels of customer organizations
  • Self-motivated with strong business planning and territory management capabilities
  • Demonstrated success managing a multi-state sales territory and achieving revenue growth objectives
  • Ability to travel up to 60% throughout the region
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel by air and automobile
  • Must reside in Arizona, Nevada, California, Oregon, or Washington
  • Must be currently and legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
  • International relocation or remote work arrangements outside of the U.S. will not be considered
