Job Description

Transition Manager overseeing the seamless transition of services at Jabil. Collaborating with US & India Delivery Team to manage complex transitions with strong project management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive transition strategies and detailed transition plans
  • Define scope, timelines, resource requirements, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of service or process transitions
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and successful delivery
  • Ensure seamless knowledge transfer, process migration, and operational handover
  • Oversee training, documentation, and stakeholder communication throughout the transition
  • Conduct regular status updates, governance meetings, and executive briefings
  • Manage client expectations and ensure high levels of satisfaction
  • Monitor and report on transition progress, risks, and issues to leadership
  • Ensure all transition documentation, SOPs, and knowledge bases are created and maintained
  • Drive compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements
  • Support post-transition handover and stabilization efforts
  • Conduct post-transition reviews and implement lessons learned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 15+ years of experience in service transition, project management, service delivery or equivalent work experience within the procurement services function
  • Experience supporting US-based and global companies and clients across timezones
  • Strong understanding service delivery models and ITIL, PMP/Prince2 methodologies (certifications preferred)
