Job Description
VIP Relationship Manager growing MetaMask’s Mandarin-speaking crypto trader and HNWI community across APAC. Managing VIP acquisition, retention, partnerships and market insights for MetaMask’s Web3 financial platform.
Responsibilities:
- Find, recruit, onboard and retain VIP traders and high-net-worth individuals across Mainland China/Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore
- Build relationships with Mandarin-speaking traders, HNWIs and community networks through industry networks, referrals, events and inbound interest
- Negotiate and agree VIP terms within MetaMask's programme guidelines
- Act as each VIP's main point of contact and involve Support, Product, Marketing and leadership when needed
- Host and join VIP gatherings across Greater China and the wider region with the Events team
- Turn VIP conversations into insights on trading behaviour, competitor offers, market shifts and product gaps, and share them with Product
- Adapt VIP materials and communications for a Chinese-speaking audience in line with Legal guidance
- Track and report on pipeline, volume, fees and retention
- Build a growing, active and engaged VIP community across Greater China
- Drive strong retention and a healthy flow of referrals
- Provide VIP feedback that shapes Product development
- Handle relationships in full compliance with company policies
Requirements:
- Experience in VIP, account management or business development in crypto, exchanges, brokerages or fintech
- A credible network among high volume Mandarin speaking traders, HNWIs or communities, or a track record of building one
- Native Mandarin and strong professional English; Cantonese is a plus
- Good understanding of regional market dynamics and how traders and HNWIs compare offerings
- Comfort working towards volume, fee and deposit targets
- Solid knowledge of on-chain trading and DeFi
- Sound judgement on local regulation and comfort working with Legal guidance
