Job Description

VP, Regional Leader driving client value through healthcare supply chain solutions. Leading account management teams and ensuring alignment with client goals and financial objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop Account Management teams and cross-functional resources.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to client executive leadership, driving strategy that increases client engagement.
  • Lead and manage client P&L performance, ensuring revenue growth and margin.
  • Represent Vizient with credibility and authority at the executive level.
  • Translate complex spend, utilization, and performance analytics into clear narratives that influence decision-making.
  • Partner closely with Enterprise Account Management, acting as a voice of the client.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience desired, MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10 or more years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare supply chain and spend management, including direct experience within provider organizations and/or leading complex provider-based supply chain functions.
  • Demonstrated success leading large, geographically dispersed high-performing teams with P&L accountability.
  • Proven experience working with executive and C-suite leaders in complex health systems, influencing decision-making, and navigating executive dynamics.
  • Documented track record of results, evidenced by clear, quantifiable outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare supply chain operations and how sourcing and spend strategies translate into operational, clinical, and financial outcomes.
  • Strong track record of developing leaders and building high-performing teams through clear expectations, accountability, feedback, and succession planning.
  • Strong understanding of P&L management, healthcare economics, and value-based decision-making.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders through credibility, sound judgment, and trusted advisory leadership.
  • Skilled in complex, high-value negotiations.
  • Ability to listen deeply to provider needs, synthesize complex quantitative and qualitative inputs, and translate data into clear, persuasive executive-level narratives.
