Job Description

Account Coordinator managing billing, forecasting, and financial reporting for Salute’s data center facilities management contracts. Client-facing finance partner coordinating vendors, audits, and KPI-linked performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a dedicated finance resource for a new client account
  • Manage end-to-end financial activities for a large-scale, performance-based data center facilities management contract
  • Prepare financial reporting packages and documentation for account reviews and business reviews
  • Lead account-level variance analysis and provide financial commentary
  • Maintain forecasting and budgeting trackers and prepare account-level forecasts
  • Support month-end close, including accruals, deferred revenue recognition, reclassifications, and reconciliations
  • Track account profitability and burn rates
  • Generate and issue client invoices with supporting documentation
  • Prebill clients and reconcile make-up invoicing for vendor variances
  • Review and reconcile employee timecards for a 45+ headcount operation
  • Review and approve expense reports
  • Monitor billing deadlines and resolve discrepancies across Salesforce, Intacct, and client billing systems
  • Manage Designated Entity billing structures and separate invoice streams
  • Track and collect outstanding accounts receivable
  • Support annual budget development and maintain financial models and rolling forecasts
  • Track budget variances against contractual caps and thresholds
  • Track and validate vendor invoices, coding, markups, rebates, purchase orders, and passthrough costs
  • Coordinate vendor onboarding, PO creation, and AP processing
  • Maintain contract, change order, and purchase order documentation
  • Track contract changes, CPI increases, inflation adjustments, unfilled position costs, and overtime
  • Support audit readiness and maintain documentation for cost validation and invoice backup
  • Participate in governance meetings and prepare financial materials
  • Communicate financial results and insights to internal and external stakeholders
  • Partner with Operations, Service Delivery, and Business Development leads
  • Participate in weekly operational syncs
  • Support data integrity across Salesforce, Intacct, and Smartsheet
  • Drive process improvement and automation initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 3–5+ years of progressive experience in account coordination, financial analysis, or a client-facing finance role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel required
  • Proficiency in financial systems such as Sage Intacct, NetSuite, and Salesforce
  • Experience with billing, revenue recognition, cost tracking, and month-end close processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present financial information to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Preferred: Experience with Time & Materials (T&M) and passthrough billing models
  • Preferred: Familiarity with data center or critical infrastructure operations
  • Preferred: Experience supporting performance-based contracts with KPI-linked financial deliverables
  • Preferred: Knowledge of EHS, OSHA, and NFPA standards
  • Preferred: Experience with ERP systems and process automation tools such as Power Query, Smartsheet, and Power BI
