Job Description
Account Executive managing sales from a partner channel for a cybersecurity compliance startup in the United Kingdom. Engaging with clients and closing deals through consultative selling.
Responsibilities:
- Own the Full Sales Cycle: Manage deals independently from discovery through close across a high-volume pipeline
- Partner Channel Management: Proactively manage and develop relationships within our partner channel to maintain consistent lead flow
- Discovery & Proposal Delivery: Run structured discovery calls, accurately scope managed service engagements, and deliver proposals tailored to each client's situation
- Executive & Technical Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with technical and executive buyers — CTOs, CISOs, CEOs, Heads of Engineering and Compliance
- Pipeline Hygiene & Forecasting: Maintain clean pipeline hygiene and forecast accurately
- Develop Technical Expertise: Build deep knowledge in SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and other compliance frameworks to have meaningful, consultative conversations with prospects
- Collaborate and Improve: Contribute to refining our sales playbooks, messaging, and qualification criteria based on what you're learning in the field
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of B2B SaaS or services sales experience
- A salesperson first : You're motivated by targets and take pride in hitting them
- Curious about the domain : You don't need deep compliance expertise yet, but you're genuinely interested in security, GRC, and becoming a subject matter expert over time
- Fast and organised : High deal volume means you need to prioritise well, follow through consistently, and keep things moving
- Self-starter : This is a startup environment. There's no playbook handed to you. You'll take initiative, own your own learning, and figure things out with the support of the EMEA Market Lead
- Comfortable With Ambiguity : You'll help shape the EMEA motion as it grows, not slot into a fully built machine
- Strong Communicator: You can break down complex topics into simple, clear explanations for technical and non-technical buyers alike
- Nice to Have Background in cybersecurity, GRC, risk, or compliance software is a strong plus — familiarity with frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, or CMMC will set you apart
- Fluent in English, German, and/or French
- Previous experience selling to technical buyers or into security/compliance teams
- Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM/sales tools
Benefits:
- Career Development : Clear path with mentorship and training opportunities
- Technical Training : Comprehensive onboarding on security and compliance frameworks
- Competitive Compensation: Competitive base salary and commission.
- Growth Opportunity : Early-stage company with significant room for career advancement.
- Remote-First Culture : Flexibility to work from anywhere while collaborating with a global team.
