Job Description

Account Executive in Renewal Sales, managing accounts and driving revenue growth for Kapitus. Collaborating across departments to enhance customer relationships and retention strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and drive revenue within a specified region or list of accounts.
  • Drive revenue and own the full cycle sales process including prospecting, negotiating contracts, and closing renewal business.
  • Provide recommendations based on a customer’s business needs and usage patterns.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer and collect feedback to qualify leads and sales opportunities.
  • Handle inbound customer communication and organize/escalate issues appropriately: billing, legal, security, and technical inquiries.
  • Collaborate with members (Underwriting, Leadership) to build strategic financial plans for customers.
  • Educate customers on the value of Cash Advance.
  • Develop trusted relationships to create win-win sales relationships.
  • Effectively manage a pipeline working within a defined sales process.
  • Communicate deal status to internal management with realistic timelines and hurdles to success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and job experience preferred.
  • 1+ years of prior full sales cycle experience, ideally in Financial Services and/or consultative sales.
  • Ability to engage multiple stakeholders throughout the sales cycle including Legal, IT, Security, and Finance.
  • Understanding of and experience with CRM programs (Salesforce preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as a strong sense of accountability.
  • Ability to compute basic business math.
