Job Description
Account Executive selling Boon’s AI-powered preconstruction tools—takeoffs, bid leveling, and clash detection—to U.S. contractors. Owning prospecting, demos, negotiations, closing, expansion, and retention.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities among general contractors, subcontractors, and specialty trades
- Generate pipeline through outbound prospecting, including calls, emails, events, conferences, and online outreach
- Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach through close, including demos, proposals, proof of concepts, and negotiations
- Partner with estimating and preconstruction teams to understand workflows and position Boon solutions
- Manage pipeline health, forecasting, and account strategy to achieve sales goals and maximize growth opportunities
- Drive customer expansion and retention by building relationships and identifying opportunities across offices, divisions, and teams
Requirements:
- 4+ years of sales experience
- Track record of success in a quota-carrying capacity
- Hunter sales mentality and strong desire to win
- Proven track record of prospecting, closing new logos, and landing accounts against incumbents
- Effective communication skills, including building rapport, nurturing relationships, and delivering compelling presentations
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, competitive, fast-paced startup environment
- Tenacity, drive to learn, and self-motivated attitude
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams
- Construction, ConTech, or AEC sales experience is a strong plus
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States
- Must answer whether visa sponsorship will be required now or in the future
