Job Description
Account Executive driving sales, pricing, collections, and distributor relationships for Quirch Foods, a food distributor. Managing assigned accounts and developing new customers.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, develop and implement sales activities by researching customer needs and requirements
- Retain and maintain existing clients while acquiring new customers
- Execute sales and marketing activities within agreed budgets, volumes, sales targets, and timelines
- Develop constructive and effective solutions to issues affecting export procedures and activities
- Review distributor performance and provide relevant information to management
- Attend meetings with other companies and negotiate to support organizational growth and development
- Conduct market research, surveys, and competitor analysis
- Develop plans to improve competitive positioning by prioritizing target countries
- Propose and negotiate sales, pricing, and terms for assigned accounts and new customers
- Analyze product purchasing options, market pricing, supplier options, and supplier compliance through plant visits
- Participate in training sessions and build relationships with key decision makers at target accounts
- Manage sales results, accounts receivable collections, pricing, and margin management for assigned accounts
- Attend trade shows and exhibitions
Requirements:
- Bilingual and fluent in English and Spanish preferred
- Financial / business analytical skills
- Computer skills – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AS 400
- Category and product knowledge
- Negotiation skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
- Pricing (cost to retail) skills
