Job Description
Account Manager supporting pharmaceutical programs for Biologics by McKesson. Managing client relationships, billing accuracy, projects, SLAs, reporting, and operational improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure 100% accuracy of client invoices prior to release
- Review invoices, line items, and supporting documentation; escalate discrepancies
- Partner with Finance for timely billing delivery and verification
- Serve as a client communications and day-to-day inquiries point of contact
- Support service delivery and program performance expectations
- Provide consultation on operational improvements, cost savings, and efficiency
- Draft and deliver written and verbal communications
- Contribute to client Quarterly Business Reviews
- Collaborate with Sales and clients to define project scope
- Support or lead sub-projects for product launches, service implementations, client initiatives, and change requests
- Manage project timelines, cross-functional communications, and tracking logs
- Lead internal change request processes and communicate priorities
- Review program documentation before production release
- Maintain client-approved documentation in secure systems
- Monitor performance against SLAs and support corrective action plans
- Serve as first point of contact for operational issues
- Ensure accurate program reports and verify data quality
- Interpret data and summarize insights for clients
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors on program operations and vendor concerns
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of project management experience
- 2+ years of experience in Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, Client/Account Management, Finance, or Distribution
- Strong customer focus
- Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities
- Advanced organizational and project management skills
- Experience with process documentation and continuous improvement
- Strong analytical abilities
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with Visio and Project
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build effective team relationships and collaborate across functions
- Professional office environment
- Up to 25% travel required
