Job Description

Account Manager responsible for sales of ABB's low and medium voltage electrical equipment in El Paso - Albuquerque area, achieving sales targets and developing customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the sales of ABB's low and medium voltage electrical equipment within the El Paso - Albuquerque Trade Areas.
  • Achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities.
  • Communicate to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions.
  • Ensure efficient marketing activities and communicate value proposition to customers.
  • Manage administrative procedures in sales processes and support cash collection and project management activities when needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited university / college and 5+ years of sales experience, OR, GED with 8+ years of sales experience.
  • Knowledge and experience quoting and/or selling commercial, industrial and residential products to electrical contractors.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of electrical industry / ABB products.
  • Strong technical application, take-off, and proposal skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Customer focused mindset with ability to respond quickly to customer needs.
  • Able to travel throughout the territory as needed.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
