Job Description
Sales Representative working on-site and remotely to develop customer relationships in various markets. Promoting products and solutions while understanding customer needs within the life sciences industry.
Responsibilities:
- Generate existing and/or new sales for assigned accounts across different accounts & industry in your designated territory
- Understand customer needs and identify solutions to non-standard tasks/queries to create business opportunities
- Promote and sell products and/or solutions to existing or new customers/partners, and inform them of new product introductions
- Develop accounts and maintain positive ongoing long-term relationships with key customers
- Work closely cross-functionally with Product Specialists, Tender Specialists, Service & Support Engineers, etc.
Requirements:
- University degree in Chemistry, Food, Environment, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or similar background in life sciences.
- First hands-on laboratory experience with chromatography techniques such as GC/ HPLC/UHPLC/ MS; experience may have been acquired in an internship, academic project, a technical role, or similar.
- First experience in sales is an advantage but not a requirement.
- Good level of English (for internal communication & training).
