Job Description
Account Manager responsible for driving sales and generating business growth within the EMEA IoT sector. Manage client relationships and execute strategies for long-term growth.
Responsibilities:
- Manage existing & newly won accounts to meet and exceed forecasted revenue targets whilst managing customer solutions and implementations.
- Promoting & upselling Telenor Connexion IoT Solutions to extend our leading position in the Global market as the preferred provider of Global IoT services.
- Finding and identifying new business opportunities within your customer base for business expansion.
- Meeting with the customers on a regular basis to explore new opportunities and promote our products.
- Ensure that customer agreements are fulfilled through both the delivery and the operational phase.
- SLA management, service satisfaction and to ensure that agreements are fulfilled through regular dialogue as well as structured operations and development meetings.
- Ensure that all operational processes towards the customer are working according to operations manual.
- Ensure that the customer solution is optimized from a technical and commercial perspective.
- Handle problem reports and change request initiations.
- Follow up on customer status.
- Manage customer operations processes and follow up on KPIs.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with key people in customer organizations.
- Working together with technical solution managers, partner managers, vertical experts, bid managers and pricing managers to execute on our strategy.
- Always keep our CRM system up to date, be comfortable constructing price proposals, presenting value propositions and negotiation contracts.
- Represent Telenor Connexion in various events and exhibitions. Travel is required in this role.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of Account/Sales experience and a documented track record within the telecommunication & IoT industry
- Technical understanding in IoT connectivity is desired, as well as vertical connectivity knowledge in verticals such as Smart cities & utilities, Asset Management, e-health, Automotive and Transportation & Logistics
- A demonstrated ability to translate a technical value proposition into business value
- A proven track record of generating new business within existing accounts using a solution-based sales approach
- Excellent communications skills, comfortable to hold presentations at CXO level with customers.
