Job Description

Account Manager focusing on IT services for public sector and defense. Building relationships and managing cybersecurity and IT infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales of IT services and digitalization solutions for the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr), ministries and government agencies in the defense sector
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with decision-makers
  • Identifying needs in the areas of cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, cloud and software solutions
  • Managing tenders and procurement procedures
  • Collaborating with internal specialist teams to implement customer projects
  • Strategic market development and development of new business approaches for defense and security authorities

Requirements:

  • Experience in IT sales to government agencies or security-critical organizations
  • Knowledge of public procurement processes and framework contract business
  • Experience with sensitive IT projects (cybersecurity, cloud, data centers)
  • Strong communication skills, persuasiveness and negotiation skills at decision-maker level
  • Willingness to travel within Germany and strong security awareness
