Job Description
Account Manager handling sales for Ravago Building Solutions in the South/West of Germany. Engaging with clients, overseeing pricing, and managing projects for construction materials.
Responsibilities:
- Field sales – regular on-site visits and telephone support of the existing customer base
- Price calculations for demand and costing enquiries and preparation of quotations
- Clarification of availability for requested products
- Administrative processing of enquiries and projects
- Follow-up on demand enquiries / project tracking
- Verification of order confirmations with regard to agreed prices / price commitments
- Annual contract negotiations and administrative handling of contracts
- Acquisition of new customers and associated tasks
- Technical and commercial acquisition of construction projects
- Handling of complaints and claims
- Coordination of marketing measures for these customer groups (in cooperation with the Technical Area Manager) and the Marketing Department
Requirements:
- Technical degree and/or vocational training (particularly in civil engineering/construction)
- Several years of sales experience in a similar industry desirable
- Knowledge of the industry or related sectors: plastics, construction, insulation materials
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Willingness to travel; valid driving license (Class B or equivalent) required
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications
- Communicative, goal-oriented, independent, reliable, and quick to grasp new information
