Job Description

Account Manager managing sales for Ravago Building Solutions Germany in the southern western region. Involves customer visits, project management, and contract negotiations.

Responsibilities:

  • Field sales – regular customer visits and telephone support for the existing customer base
  • Price calculations for requirement and quotation requests, and preparation of offers
  • Checking availability of requested products
  • Administrative processing of inquiries and projects
  • Following up on demand requests / project tracking
  • Checking order confirmations for compliance with agreed prices / price commitments
  • Annual contract negotiations and administrative processing of contracts
  • New customer acquisition and related tasks
  • Technical/commercial acquisition of construction projects
  • Handling complaints and claims
  • Defining marketing measures for these customer groups (in cooperation with the Technical Area Manager) and the Marketing department

Requirements:

  • Technical degree and/or vocational training (particularly in civil engineering/construction)
  • Several years of sales experience in a similar industry desirable
  • Knowledge of the industry or related sectors: plastics, construction, insulation materials
  • Good English skills, written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel; Class B driving license mandatory
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Communicative, goal-oriented, independent, reliable, with a quick grasp of new information
