Job Description
Account Manager managing Grüns' East Grocery business across major retail partners. Leading strategies and relationships with Kroger, Harris Teeter, Publix, and Wegmans.
Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the East Grocery business end-to-end
- Lead buyer relationships across key retailers
- Establish a monthly business review cadence
- Deliver flawless launches on-time and in-full
- Build and maintain a continuous pipeline of opportunities
- Own promo planning and post-event analysis
- Develop retailer-specific playbooks
- Manage broker and distributor relationships
- Partner cross-functionally with various teams
- Identify and pursue new grocery partnerships
Requirements:
- 5+ years of CPG sales experience
- At least 2 years calling on a major grocery retailer (Kroger experience strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated understanding of Grocery channel economics
- Proven experience expanding distribution
- Strong financial acumen
- Highly analytical and skilled at synthesizing data
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides
- Experience managing brokers
- Successfully launched new items
