Job Description

UK Account Manager responsible for developing customer accounts and driving commercial growth in the logistics sector. Building relationships and supporting operational excellence across the portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for a defined portfolio of UK customers, with occasional support for European accounts.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders across the Depot Connect network.
  • Conduct regular Business Reviews (QBRs/MYBRs) to provide performance insights, service updates, and improvement opportunities.
  • Meet with customers virtually and in person to understand their operational needs and goals.
  • Identify new opportunities, efficiencies, and value-add solutions to grow wallet share within existing accounts.
  • Explore innovative ways to generate new business and deliver enhanced value to customers.
  • Assist in creating tailored proposals, commercial documents, and solution presentations.
  • Maintain accurate customer information, activities, opportunities, and forecasts in Salesforce.
  • Provide regular reporting, pipeline updates, and customer insights to support commercial decision-making.
  • Prepare presentations, meeting packs, proposals, and follow-up documentation.
  • Support operational tasks to ensure smooth account operations and effective customer communication.
  • Assist the VP of Commercial with customer insights, project coordination, and strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or a commercial role within logistics, supply chain, warehousing, 3PL/4PL, or related industries.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills across all stakeholder levels.
  • Organised, detail-focused, and capable of managing multiple accounts and priorities.
  • Proficient in presenting, running business reviews, and developing customer proposals.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce pipeline management and reporting.
  • Commercially minded, proactive, and able to identify growth opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and occasionally Europe.
