Job Description
Application Support Analyst providing first line and mid-tier support for Technology Services help desk. Focusing on triage, issue remediation, reporting, and monitoring.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first line and mid-tier support for the Technology Services help desk
- Perform triage, issue remediation, and analysis for improvements
- Deliver standard and ad hoc reporting
- Monitor requests to ensure prompt attention and response
- Analyze work process flow and incident data for improvements
- Validate updates through testing and ensure accurate deployment
- Manage scheduled and ad hoc SQL based reports
Requirements:
- SQL proficiency
- ASP.NET fundamentals
- Help desk or IT support experience (1–3 years)
- Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, batch)
- Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and general web application concepts
- Understanding of Windows Server basics, networking fundamentals, and HTTP error codes
- Leveraging AI: Comfort using AI-assisted tools to improve productivity and quality
- Strong desire for a career path in technical support
