Job Description
Cash Depot ATM technician handling cash operations, courier services, and first-line maintenance. Traveling to Cedar Rapids-area customer locations and maintaining ATM and AirVac equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide cash and courier services to ATM and AirVac customers
- Replenish cash, perform ATM and smart safe pulls, deliver coins, and make deposits
- Perform first-line maintenance, including clearing jams, rebooting machines, replenishing receipt paper, running diagnostics, software updates, and escalating issues to technical support
- Partner with the territory dispatcher to execute scheduled dispatch requests
- Complete assigned tasks and communicate inventory and support requests accurately and promptly
- Complete administrative paperwork
- Maintain efficiency, safety, first-time-fix-rate, and other department metrics
- Assist and train other technicians as needed
- Follow security procedures and policies
- Maintain inventory and technical competencies
- Identify efficiency improvements and work independently with minimal supervision
- Travel within a van and operate at customer locations, estimated at 50% of the shift
- Use lifting equipment, hand tools, an iPad, and a cell phone
Requirements:
- High School Degree / GED
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to be insured through the Company’s risk insurer
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate (Federal Medical Certification)
- Ability to drive a vehicle over 50% of the shift
- Ability to work safely when lifting and performing position-related tasks
- Experience in troubleshooting or electromechanical work
- Ability to follow the Field Service Handbook expectations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be organized, detailed, multitask, think critically, and solve problems
- Accuracy and thoroughness
- Ability to adapt to workplace changes or assignment of duties
- Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting and moving equipment and materials
- Ability to speak, hear, write, and/or type reports
- Ability to use lifting equipment, hand tools, an iPad, and a cell phone
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
