Job Description
Sales Development Representative qualifying inbound and outbound leads for Otis, the world's leading elevator and escalator company. Collaborating with Sales and Marketing for effective lead management.
Responsibilities:
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads to ensure they meet established criteria before routing them to sales representatives
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and up to date records of all lead interactions in the CRM system
- Conduct timely outreach to new leads, ensuring prompt follow up and a professional first impression
- Schedule discovery calls, product demonstrations, or meetings between prospects and the Sales team
- Nurture leads not yet ready to engage in a sales conversation, building rapport and developing long-term interest
- Partner closely with Sales to ensure qualified leads progress effectively into opportunities
- Collaborate with Marketing to share insights on lead quality and campaign performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience considered
- 1–3 years of experience in sales support, business development, customer engagement, or related roles
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales engagement tools
- Strong understanding of lead management processes and sales pipelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to build rapport quickly and handle objections with professionalism
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to partner closely across teams.
