Job Description
Sales Development Representative driving sales processes to reduce emissions for businesses. Engaging with potential clients and partners in the DACH region for impactful climate solutions.
Responsibilities:
- As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will drive the initial stages of the sales process.
- Your goal is to build a strong sales funnel (customers and partnerships).
- You will initially be the only SDR for the DACH market and therefore enjoy many advantages (e.g., handling all inbound leads).
- You will work very closely with our management team to further refine our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and identify companies for potential strategic partnerships.
- You will be an important part of the sales team.
- Learn how a fast-growing startup operates and work closely with our founders.
- Be trained by experienced software sales professionals (no experience yet? No problem — we will meet you where you are).
- Be involved daily in discussions around net-zero emissions, sustainability, and new technologies.
- Independently identify and contact potential customers and partners (via email, phone, social media, and at trade shows and events).
- Act as the central point of contact for all incoming inquiries.
- Develop your own sales strategy.
- Present our software solutions to decision-makers.
- Participate in various events and trade shows.
Requirements:
- You speak fluent German (C2 is required) and English; an additional language is a plus.
- You are committed to fighting the climate crisis.
- You are enthusiastic about sales.
- Cold calling doesn’t scare you.
- You are highly communicative.
- You are proactive, engaged, and eager to learn.
- You work independently and aren’t afraid to ask questions.
- You have some initial experience in sales (this is a plus, not a must).
- You enjoy taking responsibility.
- You want to change the status quo and help companies take their first steps toward a greener future.
- Bonus: a completed university degree, preferably in business, sales/marketing, or vocational training in retail, B2B/B2C sales, or hospitality.
