Job Description
Localization Lead coordinating multilingual evaluation and localization projects for RWS, a language technology and AI services company. Managing linguistic resources, project delivery, reporting, and process improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Cooperate closely with project managers and internal supporting teams
- Coordinate complex multilingual linguistic evaluation projects supporting AI/ML service development and refinement
- Coordinate localization projects by distributing tasks to external translators or colleagues, collecting final outputs, and solving issues
- Analyze processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Communicate in English via phone and email
- Learn and use localization technologies, including CAT tools and HTML/XML
- Track work and create reports
- Report to project managers and/or customers
- Troubleshoot and solve problems
- Create instructions and documentation
Requirements:
- Ability to improvise and solve problems
- Conversational English
- Proactivity and good communication skills
- Experience managing linguistic evaluation or data labeling projects is a plus
- Linguistic background or experience is a plus
- At least a high school education; university degree is an advantage
- Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office; advanced knowledge of Excel is a plus
- Very good verbal and written English proficiency
- Attention to detail
- Team spirit
- Previous relevant work experience and knowledge of localization are a big advantage
- Candidates must reside in the advertised state to be considered
