Job Description
Business Development Manager developing and implementing growth strategies for excipients product area. Collaborating with teams and supporting sales efforts in Germany and Europe.
Responsibilities:
- You actively develop growth strategies for the excipients product area, leveraging an established customer base, existing market knowledge and long-standing contacts with manufacturers
- As the interface between product management, purchasing, sales and marketing, you ensure smooth collaboration and coordinate projects
- Provide professional support to the field sales team during customer visits, project meetings and product trainings
- Coordinate and communicate with strategic partners
- Prepare and submit reports on time, including analysis and recommended follow-up actions
- Represent Th. Geyer at trade shows and industry events
Requirements:
- Completed vocational training or degree in a scientific field, e.g. pharmacy, chemistry, biotechnology
- Practical laboratory experience desirable
- Experience in sales or product management, preferably in the area of excipients
- Confident user of MS Office applications and ideally experienced with CRM systems
- Very good German and good English skills
- Willingness to travel (up to 50%); mainly within Germany, occasional travel within Europe
- Enjoyment of sales and active customer interaction
- Strong communication and negotiation skills; analytical thinking
- Strong coordination skills, confident manner and an independent working style
