Job Description

Business Development Manager driving adoption and sales of AbbVie’s facial aesthetics portfolio, including BOTOX Cosmetic and JUVEDERM. Managing field-based customer development, product expertise, and consultative selling.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent the Facial Aesthetics product portfolio to targeted aesthetic customers within a designated geographic area
  • Create product acceptance and enhance portfolio growth through business development activities
  • Provide technical product and procedure expertise and competitive product differentiation
  • Achieve assigned sales goals through creative, consultative selling and implementation of the U.S. Sales/Marketing plan
  • Leverage resources to accelerate adoption and sales growth for BOTOX Cosmetic, JUVEDERM Collection of fillers, and Kybella brands
  • Coordinate activities with Allergan Aesthetics cross-portfolio partners and support teams
  • Complete required reporting and comply with requests and compliance policies
  • Manage field assets and resources, including product samples, marketing materials, equipment, and technical resources
  • Work in the field four days per week, minimally visiting four customers per day

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business-related field preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience required
  • 3 to 5 years of successful medical sales/practice management experience
  • 7 to 10 years of business experience
  • Experience and knowledge of general marketing principles and concepts within the healthcare environment
  • Experience and knowledge of the inner workings of a physician's practice
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills
  • Proven record of driving sales execution
  • Effective consultative support
  • Strong problem solving and resolution skillset
  • Ability to develop key strategies and execute
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong contract and negotiating skills
  • Financial and budgetary experience
  • Ability to travel 50-75%
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other software
