Job Description
Business Development Manager driving growth for a new consulting firm in LATAM. Identifying and closing business opportunities among US small to mid-sized businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify small-to-mid-sized business leads (typically under 500 employees).
- Conduct outbound calling, relationship-building, and needs assessment with prospective clients.
- Drive the full sales process from lead generation through closing, focusing on IT, bookkeeping, and consultancy services.
- Collaborate with company leadership to shape the service offering and refine the go-to-market approach.
- Provide weekly progress updates and insights; participate in regular check-ins with leadership.
- Initiate and manage initial project pipeline; assist in building supporting sales/marketing collateral.
- Help lay the foundation for the company’s market entry and future team build-out.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated success in business development, sales, or consulting with US-based small-to-midsize businesses.
- Experience selling IT, bookkeeping, consultancy, or similar business services highly preferred.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and excited by the mission and values of the company.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a start-up environment.
- Strong communicator; at ease with outbound prospecting and closing.
- Bringing an existing “book of business” or strong network is a plus.
