Job Description

Business Development Manager focused on identifying new business opportunities within the Data Center industry. Collaborating with key stakeholders to drive sales and business development strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the data center industry
  • Seek, develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers
  • Create and implement business development strategies
  • Achieve sales targets
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal technical and product teams to ensure client needs are met while participating in industry events and conferences

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer/Mechanical Engineering, Business or a related field
  • Business Development and Sales skills
  • Knowledge of Energy Solutions (generators, distributed power, UPSs, BESS, microgrids)
  • Minimum of 5 years experience selling directly into the Data Center industry specifically with Hyperscalers, Colocators, Integrators, Developers, etc.
  • Experience with Engineering/Procurement/Construction (EPC) firms
  • Ability to develop, implement and execute business strategies
  • Relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Analyze opportunities and customer needs
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Conduct Sales Presentations and Product Training
  • Project management and coordination skills
  • Participation in data center industry organizations
  • Provide reconnaissance of competitors’ influence and develop a plan to counter their influence
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Experience with SAP, Sales Force or similar CRM systems and data analysis is preferred
