Job Description

Business Development Manager growing broker and insurer partnerships for Everywhen, the UK-based broking and advisory business. Identifying commercial opportunities and supporting member growth across a field-based territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with broker members and insurer partners to drive growth and engagement
  • Identify and develop commercial opportunities that deliver value for members and partners
  • Act as a trusted point of contact, providing support, guidance and solutions
  • Promote the network's products, services and business opportunities
  • Work closely with internal teams to support member retention, development and new business growth
  • Attend meetings, events and networking opportunities to strengthen relationships and expand the portfolio
  • Contribute to business improvement initiatives and wider strategic projects
  • Support the growth and success of member brokers by promoting insurer partnerships and facilitating business opportunities
  • Help members maximise the benefits available through the network
  • Resolve challenges, drive engagement and identify business development and growth opportunities

Requirements:

  • Insurance experience, ideally in broking, underwriting, account management or business development
  • Strong understanding of the insurance market and broker distribution channels
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to identify and develop growth opportunities
  • Proactive, self-motivated approach
  • Confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Power BI, Word and PowerPoint
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel
  • CII qualifications or working towards them (desirable)
  • Experience using broker management systems and management information tools (desirable)
  • Relevant employment, address, credit history and standard criminal record checks prior to commencing employment
