Job Description

Consulting Director at CNA, serving as a strategic advisor in business process redesign and project management. Focus on delivering high-impact project management and driving process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides expert consulting on process improvement initiatives and business strategies.
  • Partners with business leaders to identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities aligned with strategic goals.
  • Manages complex projects and programs independently, assuming responsibility for pace, scope, and risk.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Supports the design and implementation of continuous process improvement programs.
  • Offers thought leadership and advises on the structure and value of formalized programs centered on business process management.
  • Develops and applies consistent, repeatable process assessment and redesign methodologies, tools, and techniques including root cause analysis and identification of value-add activities.
  • Contributes to the development of methodologies for business process management.
  • Designs tools and techniques for ongoing measurement, evaluation, and improvement of business processes.​

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with Master’s degree preferred in a related discipline or equivalent.
  • Typically, a minimum of 8 years of related work experience, including 5 or more years’ experience in process improvement or project management roles.
  • P&C Insurance experience required.
  • Experience managing large-scale process improvement projects.
  • Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or project management (PMP) preferred.
