Job Description

Clinical Account Executive advancing AbbVie’s Multiple Myeloma medicines across Kentucky and southern Indiana. Building oncology partnerships, executing territory strategy, and improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the strategic leader for the assigned Multiple Myeloma territory
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and local customer needs
  • Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders
  • Deliver compliant, customer-focused engagements using scientific and clinical expertise
  • Partner with cross-functional colleagues to deliver coordinated customer experiences
  • Evaluate territory performance using data, customer insights, and business analytics
  • Optimize execution and maximize sustainable business impact
  • Maintain integrity, compliance, and professionalism in customer interactions
  • Complete required AbbVie training and follow company policies and OEC/Legal procedures
  • Continuously develop clinical, business, and leadership capabilities
  • Report to the Senior District Manager

Requirements:

  • 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech
  • Oncology/hematology experience required; Multiple Myeloma experience preferred
  • Competitive selling skills
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Persistency and grit with a strong track record in challenging environments
  • Personal auto or company car/truck
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements
  • Ability to meet health care industry representative credentialing requirements, which may include background checks, drug screens, and proof of immunization/vaccination
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly by air or car
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Account Management experience preferred
  • Specialty Pharmacy experience preferred
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred
  • People management or leadership experience preferred
  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred
