Job Description
Content-focused Copywriter creating newsletters and ads for E-Commerce startup. Engaging the audience with strategic content and copy that converts while working remotely in Germany.
Responsibilities:
- Newsletters that get opened: You write weekly emails people want to read — sometimes a recipe, sometimes a sales push — always with a subject line that entices clicks.
- Strategic content planning: You plan topics across all channels together with founder Stef — not by gut feeling, but informed by trends, community feedback, and what’s currently resonating.
- Performance-driven content management: You publish videos and other content on Instagram, TikTok & co., write titles and descriptions that drive clicks — and understand why a strong CTA makes the difference.
- Copy that sells and still sounds great: Product copy, ads, blog posts — you hit our tone, write for the target audience, and deliver more than just SEO word salad.
- Close to the community: You know our audience, understand what moves them, and answer questions in a way that makes the community feel seen.
- Final check before go-live: Before content goes out, you do the final polish — spelling, tone, formatting. Nothing goes live that isn’t right.
Requirements:
- You come from the content space: Experience as a copywriter, content creator, or in email marketing — ideally in food, health, or lifestyle.
- Your writing converts: You don't just write pretty sentences; you write with a sense for the brand, the audience, and the click on “Buy now.”
- Klaviyo is not a foreign word: You're familiar with email tools, understand segmentation, and know why a strong open rate isn't accidental.
- AI is part of your daily toolkit: You actively use tools like Claude or Jasper for text optimization and automation — not as a replacement for thinking, but as a turbo.
- Tech-savvy and tool-confident: You operate comfortably in modern cloud tools (e.g., Asana, Google Workspace, Claude) and enjoy trying new software — if you only know Word and Excel, this probably isn't the right fit.
- Self-organized and process-oriented: You don't need someone to tell you what's next — you manage your tasks and love well-running processes.
Benefits:
- Flexible working: Write when and where your words flow best — hybrid across Germany, with one or two team days per month in Würzburg.
- Your writing has impact: Your copy doesn't end up in a forgotten folder but goes directly to a growing community — you'll see immediately which subject line resonates and which CTA converts.
- Lots of responsibility, short decision paths: You work directly with founder Stef, contribute your own ideas, and shape the brand's voice — no approval ping-pong across five hierarchy levels.
- Small team, strong camaraderie: Honest feedback, genuine appreciation, and a team that pulls together — you're not just another copywriter in a department here.
- Startup-speed growth: From newsletters to ads to content strategy — you work cross-functionally, learn fast, and grow with the brand.
