Job Description

Director leading group travel connectivity partnerships for Engine’s business travel platform. Building hotel, technology, and supply integrations to simplify group booking.

Responsibilities:

  • Own Engine’s group connectivity strategy and define how group bookings move across partners and platforms
  • Set the strategy for deeper group connectivity and create a prioritized roadmap across the group booking lifecycle
  • Lead supply and connectivity partnerships with hotel chains, connectivity providers, technology platforms, and intermediaries from initial discussion through signed, activated agreements
  • Contribute to Engine’s broader connectivity strategy with Supply and Lodging leadership
  • Build relationships with connectivity providers and technology partners
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to shape group connectivity capabilities and integrations
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert on group travel, connectivity models, and related technology
  • Prioritize group connectivity investments against engineering capacity and commercial outcomes
  • Represent Engine externally in complex, multi-stakeholder partnerships
  • Monitor industry trends across group travel, meetings, distribution, and connectivity

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience spanning product, connectivity, and partnerships in travel, hospitality, travel technology, marketplaces, or platform businesses
  • Strong working knowledge of travel connectivity and how bookings move across partners, platforms, and systems
  • Ability to set strategy and pressure-test feasibility without owning the build
  • Track record of structuring and closing complex partnerships
  • Product intuition and ability to translate strategic vision into product and engineering requirements
  • Strategic judgment in positioning and sequencing tradeoffs
  • Experience engaging large, sophisticated partners at a senior level
  • Ability to interact with commercial and product leadership at strategic partners
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functionally through influence in matrixed, fast-scaling organizations
  • Executive presence, clear communication, and sound decision-making under ambiguity
