Job Description
Key Account Manager promoting AstraZeneca respiratory and immunology medicines to Romanian healthcare professionals. Building strategic relationships and driving patient-centric treatment adoption across assigned counties.
Responsibilities:
- Generate clinical demand for BU/TA medicines with healthcare professionals
- Identify opportunities, present value propositions, and recommend patient-centric solutions
- Build strategic, mutually beneficial relationships with healthcare professionals, Key External Experts, and other stakeholders
- Promote knowledge of medicines, approved indications, efficacy and safety profiles, and treatment protocols to support on-label prescribing
- Use science-driven balanced messages and face-to-face and digital channels
- Establish and maintain long-term collaborative relationships while keeping patient needs central
- Organize workshops and educational events for healthcare professionals
- Work with the Field Force Manager to develop and implement strategies and actions to meet promotional objectives
- Manage the allocated budget across 1/2 Cluj, Bistrita-Nasaud, Salaj, and Sibiu counties
- Share insights and information within AstraZeneca to strengthen brand positioning, promotional efforts, and treatment access
- Ensure products are optimally utilized according to national/local guidelines and product licenses
- Act according to AstraZeneca values and Code of Conduct and comply with regulations and internal policies
Requirements:
- University degree required
- Preference for Medical Sciences, Pharmacy, Medical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related fields
- Passion for science and commitment to making a positive personal impact
- Curiosity and learning agility
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging mid- and senior-level healthcare professionals
- Collaborative and inclusive approach, with ability to adapt to different people
- Analytical skills and ability to use metrics to recommend actions and support decision-making
- Resourcefulness and tenacity in developing solutions
- Ability to utilize common business technology and digital tools
- Fluent in Romanian
- Advanced English
- Must comply with applicable work authorization and employment eligibility requirements
