Job Description
Key Account Manager executing AbbVie’s neurology brand strategy across Slovenia. Managing key accounts, product access, stakeholder relationships, tenders, and sales performance.
Responsibilities:
- Execute brand strategy and tactics in the field
- Manage assigned territory and targeted accounts to maximize short- and long-term sales performance
- Understand key account needs, expectations, opportunities, threats, and competitor practices; document and share insights internally
- Highlight cross-functional impacts of anticipated account changes to brand teams
- Develop solutions for claims or specific issues raised by key accounts
- Build trusted strategic relationships with stakeholders and anticipate access barriers
- Identify opportunities and collaborate cross-functionally on partnerships, contracting, and tendering for product access
- Develop and manage customer profile analyses and adjust strategies to customer service standards
- Develop key account strategies and engagement plans and formalize them in Key Account Plans
- Tailor channels, content, messages, and medical discussion topics to evolving customer needs
- Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives
- Maintain planned sales call frequencies and professional public visits
- Share relevant IFT learnings and observations with the wider IFT and brand teams
- Identify personal development opportunities
- Participate in trainings, employee meetings, and work-related events
- Perform other duties assigned by the manager
Requirements:
- Relevant university degree in a Science/Applied Science discipline
- English language proficiency verbally and in writing preferred
- Good command of the local language
- Proven track record of success in sales performance and solid presentation skills within respective therapeutic areas preferred
- Experience working with GPs
- Strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools
- Strategic and critical thinking capabilities
- Ability to identify customer style/behavior and quickly adapt the selling approach
- Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment
- Commercial pharmaceutical industry experience, such as physician/account-based selling, training, managed health care, or marketing preferred
