Job Description
Director of Business Partnerships driving sponsorship revenue and managing key partner relationships at Cleeks Golf Club. Focusing on acquiring and growing partner accounts with a global approach.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively prospect, pitch, and close high-value, multi-year corporate partnerships.
- Develop custom sales presentations and go-to-market materials in collaboration with internal teams.
- Lead and execute strategies to attract global brands aligned with LIV Golf’s mission and target audiences.
- Collaborate with LIV League’s sponsorship team to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
- Maintain and grow existing partnerships, ensuring delivery of agreed sponsorship benefits and business outcomes.
- Host and manage partners and prospects at LIV Golf events worldwide to ensure a premium experience.
- Evaluate partnership performance, delivering regular reporting and insights to stakeholders and sponsors.
- Build strategic plans tailored to individual partners’ objectives, including co-branded content and event programs.
- Work across internal departments (Legal, Broadcast, Communications, Digital, Merchandise) to align partnership activations and ensure contract compliance.
- Leverage CRM tools and project management systems to track pipelines, deliverables, and renewals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sponsorship sales, corporate partnerships, or business development within a professional sports environment.
- Proven track record in selling and managing large-scale sponsorships.
- Deep network of brand and agency contacts.
- Experience working in a global or league setting preferred.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and project management capabilities.
- Willingness to travel internationally and work nights/weekends during events.
