Job Description
USA Sales Director leading Ott’s U.S. sales organization and $60M revenue target. Scaling Territory Managers, forecasting, and commercial discipline for water-intelligence solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the U.S. sales organization and own U.S. revenue performance
- Deliver approximately $60M in annual revenue through 13 Territory Managers
- Translate company strategy into territory, account, and opportunity priorities
- Lead, coach, develop, and hold accountable 13 Territory Managers
- Assess organizational capability, recruit and develop talent, strengthen succession, and optimize territory coverage
- Establish qualification, funnel coverage, opportunity progression, close planning, and conversion standards
- Lead structured opportunity reviews focused on decisions, actions, risks, and next steps
- Own U.S. forecast accuracy using objective customer evidence and clear opportunity stages
- Implement weekly coaching, funnel reviews, monthly business reviews, quarterly territory/account reviews, field coaching, and performance follow-up
- Ensure Territory Managers maintain territory growth plans and prioritize strategic customers, new business, and high-value opportunities
- Establish CRM as the single source of truth and use KPIs and analytics to drive accountability
- Partner with Marketing, Product, Service, Operations, Finance, and Key Accounts
- Represent the business with strategic customers and support major opportunities requiring executive engagement
- Report to the Sr. Director Sales
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience (10+ years)
- Significant progressive B2B sales and commercial leadership experience
- Experience in technical, industrial, instrumentation, environmental, scientific, or complex solution-selling markets preferred
- Experience leading and scaling geographically dispersed sales teams
- Ideally 10+ direct reports and $50M+ revenue responsibility
- Demonstrated track record of delivering revenue growth and building high-performing teams
- Experience implementing funnel management, opportunity rigor, forecasting, CRM discipline, and sales standard work
- Ability to coach and develop sales professionals and improve organizational capability
- Strong commercial, financial, analytical, and strategic account management skills
- Willingness and ability to travel 75%
