Job Description
Freelance Übersetzer und Posteditor für Kauflands niederländischen Online-Marktplatz. Bearbeitung und Qualitätsoptimierung von Rechtstexten, Marketingmaterialien, Newslettern und Benutzeroberflächen.
Responsibilities:
- Post-edit machine-translated content for the Kaufland.de online marketplace for customers and business partners
- Independently improve translations and adapt them to the requirements of the Dutch market
- Collaborate with freelancers, in-house translators, and project managers to ensure translation quality
- Use AI-powered CAT tools to increase efficiency and quality
- Build and continuously maintain terminology databases and glossaries
- Communicate via Slack, email, and online meetings in a remote-work setting
- Edit content such as legal texts, marketing materials, newsletters, and user interfaces
Requirements:
- Fluency in Dutch at native-speaker level
- German proficiency at C1–C2 level
- Ability to translate effortlessly between Dutch and German
- Professional experience in post-editing and adapting content for the Dutch market
- Successfully completed degree in a humanities-related field, ideally foreign languages or translation
- Solid knowledge of CAT software
- Willingness to work with new tools and technologies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work with freelancers, in-house translators, and project managers
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
