Job Description

Freelance Übersetzer und Posteditor für Kauflands niederländischen Online-Marktplatz. Bearbeitung und Qualitätsoptimierung von Rechtstexten, Marketingmaterialien, Newslettern und Benutzeroberflächen.

Responsibilities:

  • Post-edit machine-translated content for the Kaufland.de online marketplace for customers and business partners
  • Independently improve translations and adapt them to the requirements of the Dutch market
  • Collaborate with freelancers, in-house translators, and project managers to ensure translation quality
  • Use AI-powered CAT tools to increase efficiency and quality
  • Build and continuously maintain terminology databases and glossaries
  • Communicate via Slack, email, and online meetings in a remote-work setting
  • Edit content such as legal texts, marketing materials, newsletters, and user interfaces

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Dutch at native-speaker level
  • German proficiency at C1–C2 level
  • Ability to translate effortlessly between Dutch and German
  • Professional experience in post-editing and adapting content for the Dutch market
  • Successfully completed degree in a humanities-related field, ideally foreign languages or translation
  • Solid knowledge of CAT software
  • Willingness to work with new tools and technologies
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work with freelancers, in-house translators, and project managers
  • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
