Job Description
Thai-English over-the-phone interpreter providing clear, accurate interpretation. Supporting non-English speakers in healthcare, medical, legal, and other contexts remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Provide over-the-phone interpretation services
- Interpret clearly and accurately between Thai and English
- Impart thought, purpose, spirit, emotions, and tone from the source language into the target language
- Comply with applicable ethics and standards
- Be aware of industry-specific vocabulary, particularly healthcare and medical terminology
- Assist non-English speakers in various activities
Requirements:
- Native in Thai
- English level: B2/C1
- Experience in interpretation and good knowledge of medical/legal terminology is a plus
- Windows 10 or newer computer with Pentium or i3 processor; minimum Core 2 Duo 2.1 GHz; recommended i5/i7 2.4 GHz or above
- Minimum 4 GB RAM; 8 GB recommended
- Stable and fast internet connection; Wi-Fi is not allowed
- Internet speed of 4 Mbps download/upload
- Noise-canceling wired USB headset
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally and personally
- Ability to provide interpretation between Thai and English
