Job Description
Remote Spanish interpreter providing English-Spanish phone and video interpretation. Supporting medical, legal, and social-service communication with accuracy, neutrality, and cultural sensitivity.
Responsibilities:
- Provide over-the-phone and video consecutive interpretation in medical, legal, and social service environments
- Accurately convey messages while maintaining professional neutrality and confidentiality
- Research terminology to understand specialized fields
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity to bridge gaps between diverse backgrounds
Requirements:
- Native-level or near-native fluency in Spanish and English (C1/C2 level)
- Ability to handle high-pressure or sensitive situations professionally
- Outstanding listening, retention, and note-taking abilities
- Previous interpretation experience preferred, but not required
- Windows 10/11 or macOS 12.7+ (fully updated)
- Remote/Virtual PCs are not permitted
- Intel 6th Gen (i5-6xxx) CPU or AMD equivalent
- Minimum 8GB RAM
- Wired internet connection via Starlink, xDSL, Coaxial, or Fiber; LTE/4G and Wi-Fi are not permitted
- USB wired headset with uni-directional microphone
