Job Description
Field Sales Engineer growing Hach’s industrial water-quality customer portfolio across Normandy. Diagnosing water-treatment needs and delivering technical and commercial solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and retain a portfolio of industrial accounts across Normandy
- Strengthen existing relationships and create new growth opportunities
- Spend the core of the week in the field, Tuesday through Thursday, meeting with customers
- Dedicate Mondays and Friday afternoons to preparing meetings, following up on opportunities, preparing quotations, and updating Salesforce
- Diagnose customer challenges related to water management, treatment, and analysis
- Develop the appropriate technical and commercial solution together with customers
- Collaborate with Hach’s technical, support, and service teams to successfully deliver customer projects
- Ensure rigorous tracking of opportunities and account activity in Salesforce
- Contribute to the region’s growth objectives alongside the manager and field team
Requirements:
- Master’s-level degree (Bac+5) in a scientific or technical field, or equivalent technical experience
- Professional experience in a technical, industrial, or field sales role
- Fluent French, spoken and written, including technical vocabulary
- Valid driver’s license, with the ability to travel extensively throughout the Normandy region
- Experience in the water industry, gained with a water-utility operator, industrial company, engineering or design firm, systems integrator, or engineering consultancy, is particularly well suited
