Job Description

Sales representative for aviation industry at Stahlkontor managing customer relationships and technical requirements. Requires experience in sales and technical understanding.

Responsibilities:

  • Acquisition, support and advisory services for customers in the aviation industry
  • Preparation of customer-specific quotations in close coordination with internal technical departments
  • First point of contact for servicing existing customers
  • Identifying and approaching potential new customers and presenting the service portfolio
  • Independent preparation, execution, follow-up and documentation of customer visits
  • Expansion and development of sustainable, long-term partnerships with our customers

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed vocational training or academic degree with a technical and/or business focus
  • Familiarity with technical drawings (analog or digital)
  • Professional experience in a comparable sales position selling technically complex products and services
  • Good technical understanding
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confident and convincing manner in customer interactions
  • Knowledge and experience in the aviation industry desirable
  • Fluent English skills, both written and spoken
  • Proficient use of ERP systems (preferably ABAS) and common MS Office applications
  • Independent working style
