Job Description
Intern supporting installation, maintenance, and servicing of medical equipment at GE HealthCare. Gaining practical experience and collaborating with internal teams in a leading medical technology company.
Responsibilities:
- Support the installation, maintenance, and servicing of medical equipment and systems
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of medical devices
- Support maintenance, repair, and calibration of systems (e.g., imaging, ultrasound, etc.)
- Perform troubleshooting and fault analysis under the guidance of experienced technicians
- Document service activities and technical work
- Support spare parts management and logistics processes
- Collaborate with internal teams and assist with on-site customer support
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled student in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Strong technical interest and understanding of medical devices
- Some practical experience (e.g., internships or student jobs) is a plus
- Independent and detail-oriented working style
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Fluent in German and proficient in English
- Willingness to travel (depending on the service area)
