Job Description
Field Service Technician servicing and repairing automatic doors for Allegion. Performing maintenance work, managing inventory, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Perform service, repair, and preventative maintenance work in accordance with the service program for the specific customer.
- Accurately record work record details, productive versus travel time, and parts used for each job.
- Stay updated on changes to Stanley equipment and Ansi156.10 standards.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and property responsibly.
- Manage inventory for the service vehicle and keep an inventory log.
- Maintain excellent customer relations and provide high-quality service.
- Assist and instruct others in service methods.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry 50-75 lbs.
- Ability to work independently with strong communication skills.
- Physical ability to climb ladders, stand on concrete for long periods, and work in various climates.
- Ability to stoop, bend, crouch, kneel, crawl, and work overhead.
- Flexible schedule, including availability for night/weekend work or 'On Call' shifts.
- Prior experience servicing automated doors Preferred.
- Prior experience in the Electrical Troubleshooting preferred.
